The Evaluation Process
Every dog at St. Barks goes through a brief temperament evaluation before their first visit. This keeps our community safe and ensures every member — two- and four-legged — has a great time. Evaluations are free, friendly, and typically take 20–30 minutes.

Common Questions
What breeds are allowed?
All breeds are welcome at St. Barks. Membership is based on temperament, not breed. Our evaluation process ensures every dog is a good fit for the community.
Is St. Barks a Dog Park?
No — St. Barks is a private, dog-friendly, members-only social club in Studio City, not a public dog park. We're a curated community where members and their evaluated dogs enjoy a scenic outdoor space, a coffee and cocktail bar, and regular events. All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations and pass a temperament evaluation before joining.
Is there a joining fee?
There is a one-time $35 evaluation and onboarding fee. After that, your monthly or annual membership rate is all you pay.
Can I cancel anytime?
All memberships can be cancelled with 10 days' notice. If you have additional time remaining on your membership, you are free to enjoy the park till the membership expires.
What if my dog doesn't pass the evaluation?
If your dog isn't quite ready for the group environment, we'll give you honest feedback and suggestions. You're welcome to reapply after working on any areas we flag.
